First time

Went to the track today for the time. I was very dissapointed with my numbers. car is a 98 5spd. Mods are Y-pipe and 2.5" B-pipe. I was looking for low 15's high 14's, oh well.
Englishtown Raceway Park

no jack, spare tire, trunk mat, floor mats
race weight: 3230 lbs
fron tire pressure: 24psi
stock 16" 5 spokes with normal road tires.
temp: 84
absolute barometer: 28.99

two best slips:

r/t: .386
60': 2.363
330: 6.586
1/8: 10.053
mph: 70.26
1000: 13.044
1/4: 15.552
mph: 90.10

r/t: 1.202
60': 2.419
330: 6.694
1/8: 10.200
mph: 69.48
1000: 13.216
1/4: 15.743
mph: 89.63

I know i need to work on the 60'. I launched at around 2500-3500rpm. held third to the end. What do you guys think? any suggestions?

I think your traps should be a few mph higher.
You know what they say about the 60', every .1 off equals .2 off of your ET.

Weather does have an affect as well. With the brutal weather thats been plaguing the east coast, its no surprise that your trap may be down a couple of mphs. Keep at it!

Don't waste your money on replacing a part that doesn't need to be replaced. Temperature and Elevation can drastically affect your times. (definately hot that day) You were hoping for low 15's high 14's? Well you would have hit low 15's with a better 60'.
Does the car honestly feel alot slower than usual?

Thanks for the replies guys. Practice makes perfect, just gotta get more practice i guess. I just got the car but it doesn't feel like anything is wrong with it though, its very zippy. If i race on a cooler day, the motor will run better but i'll lose in the traction department, kinda seems like you lose either way, i assume racing on a cooler day is better though.
