hit the track for the 1st time

whats up fellas,

I just came back from the track today for the first time. I have 16" 300zx rims mounted on Falken Azenis Rt615 at 20psi.

I was basically there on the wrong day. I was the only import there going against 10sec muscle cars and funny cars. Only got to do 2 runs. Here are my run times. I could of did better if I got to do more runs and got use to the track conditions and launching.

1st run
R/T 1.093
60' 2.400
330 6.385
1/8 9.586
mph 77.56
1000 12.307
1/4 14.606
mph 99.95

2nd run
R/T 1.092
60' 2.270
330 6.084
1/8 9.199
mph 79.27
1000 11.878
1/4 14.143
mph 101.07

great photos man ! shame you only got two runs, thats how it goes sometimes, very nice looking maxima too ! did you get videos, lol !

do you know the weight of the 300zx rims ? im trying to sale my oem skyline wheels, and just put some of the money on 2 wheels to get me from point a to point b. forgot all about the 300zx ones fitting but i bet they are more than some old oem maxima wheels.

That picture of you in the middle of those V8s is great! I love it! BTW, the run w/ the Mustang, is that the 14.103 run? Also, what did the stang run? Great pic's though.

the 300zx rims weigh 18lbs

I have a pair that I'm trying to sell if your interested.

That black stang ran 13.2 on my 14.1 run.

I had my friend record my 14.1 run. When I came back around to watch it he forgot to take the cap off. He couldn't find out why he was only able to see black but hear sound. I was heated. I wasn't too far away from that stang. I wish I could of shown yous.

I had a question I don't know if you would be able to answer. I think that my vias isn't working, losing low end torque. When I did my dyno run I noticed no dip before 4k when the vias kicks in. On my earlier dyno runs the dip was there. I don't know if it has to do with me advancing my timing from 14 to 16. If you know the answer to this question could you please post it in this thread http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....69#post5303269

Thanks and here are some more pics. I was the only import there representing nissan.

This was my first run against the 11 sec stang. Yea got spanked dont remind me.
