im trying to do some horse trading, and wanted to know if I will have any trouble with a 42mm offset ?
wheels are:
15 x 7
5 x 114.3
offset 42
according to: http://maxmods.dyndns.org/ -
Wheels that fit on a Maxima have to have a bolt pattern of 5 x 114.3 or 5 x 4.5 (in inches) with between a 35-40mm offset.
For offsets greater than 40, spacers and longer lugs can be used to prevent the rim from rubbing on the suspension arms or inner wheel well with wide wheels.
Is this information correct ? I dont wont to mess around with spacers and longer lugs. Anyone know if 42mm offset is ok for 4th gen ?

42 should be fine with the width you're using. the only problem I could forsee would be spoke clearance with your brake calipers, but should should still be fine. I would recommend a test fit just in case, but I'm confident you'll be okay to use them.
My wheels are +46 offset and they rub only a tiny bit if the wheel is turned all the way to either side. You'll be ok.
