Vids of my 11s thanks to luke @ VQpower.com

http://vqpower.com/v2/modules.php?na...ate=1164945525

There's the two vids of my 11s. My first 11 second pass 11.96 @ 121 and my best pass 11.76 @ 121 - unfortunately the time got cut off on the 2nd vid.

I really don't like the way my car sounds when the wastegate opens up, even with the cutout closed

Make sure you take vids too when you hit the track next spring. I want to see your car beat up some domestics or Hunduhs

Nice video and great times. Maybe it's the camera, but the open wastegate dump doesn't sound bad on your car. Maybe I'm just used to hearing them used on 4 cyl engines (I didn't think that would matter before) where they sound much more high pitched and "whiny". Anyways, congrats on the times again. Hope to see more next season.

I don't have an open dump - neither open wastegate dump nor main exhaust dump. Those runs are with full exhaust, all wastegate gasses and regular exhaust gasses going all the way through the muffler. If I had an open dump (which I had for a while) my car would be 340967349087 times louder. It's really bad with open dump, and I hate that even more than I hate how the car sounds now (even with the recirculated wastegate, you can still hear clearly when the WG opens).

Well that certaintly clears things up for me. As I said, it sounded very quiet to me. When you said at the top "I hate when the wastegate opens up", I just figured you meant that bc you had an open dump.
Can't wait to hear what kind of improved engine note you come up with after reworking everything.
If I don't end up going internal wastegate (still haven't figured out my setup on my s13), I'm definately going to have the wastegate routed back into the downpipe. It's just a cleaner sound to me.
