New times at the track this weekend.
New times at the track this weekend.
This was my second time going to the track this weekend and i was pretty happy with my results for it being my second time at the track.
Empty trunk. all season tires. cai. y-pipe. catback. sts. udp. k&n filter.
Here are my 2 best time slips:

I improved by .5 sec from my first time, mainly because i took everything out of the trunk. i had about 200 lbs of stuff in there the first time if not more.
Im getting nitrous this week so hopefully ill get into the 14's...
Tell me what you think.

Much better! You can still improve on your 60' times but judging from the other time slips from the cars you ran against, they didn't get much traction either.
It takes practice to get a good 60' but if the track is not prepared well you won't have much of a chance.

My tire psi was at 20 lbs...
I was thinking the same thing about the rear seats, i was even thinking about the passanger one too cuz its a power seat so the motor add some wieght.

yeah the front seats weight like 50lbs each and the rear is like 30lbs so there is your 15's
man I can not wait till next week when the track opens, am going to take out the passanger and rear seat, spare and jack & run a 75 shot hoping for 13.9's and if that does not work I have a 82shot I am dying to try

190 at the flywheel more like 160-170 at the wheels plus 75 = about 235 should be still good for 13's
also the car is starting to bottleneck at the topend which is killing my mph, I want to keep the car quiet but now it's time to open up the intake and exhuast alitle and let this thing breath
