wait...this is the same 6-speed 2k2 that has headers and an 04+ transmission? You definitely need to get your 60' down then because your car should be in the 13s...

Yeah I agree. 14.29@101 means 13s are very possible. I remember doing a few runs around 14.0@99 mph and I remember my very first 13-second run was a 13.87@101 mph. Both on street tires.

Get 16s with Drag Radials

I was running very high on tire pressure which is where those 14.4 - 14.6 numbers came from. I had to leave on the last run but imagine if I launched the car I would do better. I know I can get better then 14.290 but had to go

i love maxima drag racing vids, cheers and nice runs! the second video reminds me of a maxima vs wrx sti thread that was being discussed for awhile, those sti's dont waste anytime off the line aye ? but you looked pretty good against him on one vid.

thanks for the footage!

It was a stock WRX I thought it was an STi as well, then when we went to turn around I noticed no STi logo... pretty sure he kitted himself to look like it though. (he ran a 13.8) if I remember correct.

NM... the 2nd video was an STi my apology

cool, ha just assuming it was, spotted the big wing on back. even wrx can be a handful. Back in the states I raced a few stock ones and they were putting up 14.4's I believe.

next time you visit the track meryln show them a bit more of that maxima magic !
