Videos and Pics of 1st season at the track

I've never been to the track before 2007. I got started after watching some of the other Colorado Maxima owners run up at
Bandimere Speedway
Morrison, CO 80465
www.bandimere.com
Elevation: 5,860 feet

A couple of this seasons pics:

MEETING ON THE WAY TO THE TRACK

COOLING DOWN

The Colorado State Patrol puts on a "Test and Tune night". ALL different kinds of cars and bikes show up. Some are very serious, others like me are there just for the fun of it. My mods are in the sig and this car has about every option so it tips in at 3650lbs, even after I take the floor mats out and the spare tire. I usually try to run on a 1/4 tank of gas. I make no pretense that its the fastest or everything is just right, I just know it's a good time.

vs Wicked Bike

vs Pontiac

vs Dodge Neon

vs Foxbody Mustang GT

vs Built 38Chevy

Not me but it is my favorite car out there. Keep in mind this Honda he is racing runs 12s.

10/3/07 was the last night for the year for me. I never ran under 15.9 the whole night, that has never happened before.

This is my PB so far.

R/T 0.047
60ft 2.471
330ft 6.75
1/8th mile 10.207
MPH 71.3
1000ft 13.202
1/4 mile 15.715
MPH 90.16

Corrected for elevation brings me to 14.78ET @ 91.23. Not bad for my daily driver. Real world application, what I do at the track, can almost be duplicated where ever I take the car. I've got a few more I may toss in here but I hope you enjoy what I've posted. I know I did.

Nice run at 5000+feet. I am running at 3075ft here in Tucson(not as bad as you) but I feel the elevation pain here too!

awesome thread, as soon as i can, will be watching all the videos, nice photos too. i sure hope one of the maximas put a spanking on that mustang gt, lol ! quite a task aye. yeah those hondas are tough as around here in NZ. to actually compete for the tops spots against them here in c23 all motor class only dandymax could jockey to take them out as they run 12's. from memory there little worked up EF9's.

that elevation is quite unfortunate, while everyone is on an equal playing field car vs car, getting an acurate et of what the car is truely capable of is impossible aye. we have one track here in NZ thats at least 1000 feet higher above sea level than the others and im always a .2 slower and a few mph down.

I think I've asked this before, but have you ever dyno'd on a dynojet? And if so, what were the UNC numbers?

Thanks guys. It's a ton of fun.

I did send you a pm in regards to that question previously.......Last dyno was on a "mustang dyno"......numbers came in fairly low. You know I ought to go over to the dyno jet and get em done again. I know it's faster than the first time around. I can post up what I do have though.

What are UNC numbers?

Not quite an equal playing field, turbocharged cars only lose about half a second compared to the full second that n/a cars lose up here.
