Very nice times.. I watched your car race at MIR. I also looked in your engine bay to see what you had done because I couldn't beleive you were trapping at 106mph with an N/A. Of course I don't know too much about Maximas. I just didn't think that speed was possible without a power adder.

Thanks for the comments folks. I honestly think my clutch slipping helped my 60'. Most of those runs i barely feathered the clutched and i could tell the clutch wasnt engaging fully. It was even slipping in between gears. Not to mention the track was VERY well prepped. There were 7 second cars running behind me with no traction issues. As far as nitrous goes, I will be installing a zex kit, but not until i break 12's all motor. I had the highest trap speed in my field the whole day. I have a fidanza flywheel and new tranny+ plus clutch that should be going in this week. With some drag radials i hopefully will get 12's by the end of the season.

Best description i could give you is after i go through the bleach box i normally pull forward outof the water and then dry hop to get any access water off of the tires. then i stage. I release the clutch up until right before the friction point and rev up to about 3.5k. Once the last yellow light up i feather the clutch until i feel the tires grab, after that i wide open.

Heres a link to the first run of the day against GBauer in his m//
60'2.22 1/4-13.52@ 105.45mph
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ykbvi29sSxU
And me in the finals, As you can see the idiot spoter never put me in the bleach box. Only the passenger side spun. I tried to back-up and dry hop but it didnt help. When i leave you can see the driver side spinning. And if you listen closely you can hear the clutch slipping in between gears.

I really want to see what that thing would run with D/Rs. The MPH is good, but could also be high because of your traction issues in second gear. The 13.2 is a great time though! Easily a 12 second capable car with traction.

Nice runs man...I watched those videos and was wondering if that was anybody on here, I hope you get into the 12's so then us 5.5gen owners can truly say that a bolt-on Maxima can run 12's...lol

Well considering that SR20 has no A/C, powersteering bypassed, slicks, and more mods , I wouldn't say that is just only "bolt ons" like our friend jay-pee...

Obviously our definition of bolt on is different. As long as he's all motor running 12's he's only "bolt-ons" to me.

You don't know you're talking about do you?

Anyhow, good to see our MT's nipping the lower end of 13's NA, no matter who it is.

I'm not taking anything away from SR20...it's just everytime I say that to my friends they give my crap about how it has no A/C and stuff, and jay pee truly only has bolt-ons with no major mods...and can be running in the 12's very easily with tuning and some sticky tires...SORRY FOR NOT CLARYFYING MYSELF

Guess so...my idea of bolt-ons are ya know...the parts that you "bolt-on" lol, like headers, intake, exhaust, not bolt-offs like no A/C...etc. etc. Like I said earlier, I'm not taking anything away from people that do that I'm just saying in my eyes that I don't consider a car to only be a only "bolt-on" car with no normal daily driving parts...

If you're challenging JP, I'm guessing your mod list is extensive, and I was curious as to what modifications you had done. Also, if you have a timeslip so that we can compare your run and JP's run.

Clearer?
