Naw its just good to finally see someone else on here that is not up Jay_Pees rear end so much that they cant see the truth. People on here act like there scared of him or something. I already beat one of his cars and this one is going to go down next and I dont run no where near 12s so lets see what his groupies will be saying then.

 

I think the fact that they are missing is that these are street cars not track only cars. So, if i have a street car and strip it down like it is a track car and run and unusally fast time it is not really an accomplishement because when i leave the track i have to put my car all back together take th e drag radials off and hit the streets. So, if i want to protect my reputation as my car being fast i only race cars that i think i can beat in full street trim cause my fast track time is really not legit cause it was stripped down. If someone has a legit 12.9 sec max. he should be racing corvettes, supras & mustang cobra and cars of that type not cars they no they can beat.

Matter of fact I saw Jay_pee last week on the street with full interior and street wheels all around beat a car that runs 13.8 by only 1 car lengh. So that basically confirms that his car AS IS in full trim on the street is still a 13.6 car. Hell we will give him 13.5 to be fair but still no where able to drive to the track on any given day AS IS and pull anything faster than 13.5 no where near 12.9

I'm just curious...but isnt JP best a 13.1 or 13.2 with all interior in the car...and he consistently runs 13.2's...now everyone knows I am the first to jump out there to run Jason...but damn...to really go at him like that Moe...you really must be a hater...like you have hate in your blood or somthing....if he does run 13.5....than that means Jon should be walking him down and he doesnt....just odd....maybe you should actually hang out with the track with us and see what everyone runs consistently.

Jay_pee why are you wasting your time responding to the BS. I have run with my front car seat out a couple of times and I haven't gotten any better times than with the full trim in the car. I think it's shame to bring up this negative BS about street times and track times JP ran a 12.9 and that's all that matters.That's a great feat to run a 12.9 on all motor NO Juice, NO Boost ALL MOTOR in a Maxima 5.5 Gen. Yeah I think you should respect what he has done with his Max to hit 12.9 and give props to him instead of looking for a under cover way to figure out how he ran a 12.9. JP keep doing what you do. I dont care if he ran 12s, but I just didnt see how he was gonna sit there and say getting a 3 inch exhaust took him from 13.1 to 12.9 with no MPH change and then doesnt want to admit that his weight reduction probally played the most role in the 12.9 which is dumb because whats the point of going through all that trouble to pull the interior out if it wasnt going to do anything???


Oh and I didnt make that other screen name, the mods can even confirm that if they want. I never had to make another screen name to "hate" on jason before so why would I need to now??

 

First off, congrats on running 12's JP.

I saw jason run a 13.4 at capital with street tires and full interior. It was his first pass off the street. This was before the new exhaust. Also, i believe his check engine light was on as well...

What does the check engine like have to do with anything?? a check engine like on 50% of the time doesnt mean that the ECU is slowing the car down or anything. Check engine lights come on sometimes just to give messages or warnings.

And yes you just posting that non sense confirms that your a GRUPIE and thats the honest truth.

I must've missed something here. What does it matter if he lightened his car? Why would he have groupies for breaking 12's? Why are you so bothered by any of this?
Also, the back seat and spare tire weigh about 100lbs, which is ~.1 in the 1/4.

Strip away all the crap about "how" he ran a 12...He still ran a 12! He took a car that stock will run a mid to high 14 and without boost or juice ran a 12 second quarter! That is impressive. Weight reduction or not...slicks or not...He has a fast Maxima. I have no idea who this guy is, but if there was a guy at my local track that made the pretty little lights at the end flash 12.9 with a Maxima I would have to find him and talk to him about his set-up. When I find out its all motor I'm even more impressed. Good job on the accomplishment!

 

Most of the people on acurazine. Dont have the driving skills, or track experience to run the times that you run. We already know how much driver skill matters, look what your car ran with a less experienced driver 14.1.

On street tires their are several cars that could hang with you... (mitch red cl, a few supercharged ones and one that has a 3.5 swap.)

^ Yeah, but he is only mods are intake, headers, catback, udp, springs and spray.
Full interior, stock wheels with street tires, stock ecu, stock internals. So, with those additions he would easily run 12s.

I know, a cl with cai, headers, test pipe and 1 other mod that will run 12's !!!!

 

How many cl's are running 12's? Just curious? I mean all those mods add up to about what i have into mine so i am just wondering.
