First time with the Supercharger

went to 1/8 mile track tonight. First time with the v2, 2.87 pulley. I only see 9.5 psi on the gauge tho, (maybe my muffler robbing psi?) anyways, its much faster than before lol. So much i have to completely relearn to launch, and/or invest in traction, cuz street tires aint cutting it. I have a run on camera where i was spinning at the finish line. Anyways, full trim, fully loaded SE, didnt even remove the subs this time. Tires are 225/45 BFG Gforce T/A on g35 coupe 17s.

2 runs similar to this
60 foot: 2.412
330: 6.201
1/8: 9.253
mph: 82.56

2 runs similar to this
2.526
7.194
10.401
79.39

whatcha think? Im not far behind Sparks03's trap where he runs low 13, but of course hes n/a so its apples to oranges, but still has me confident.

with those 60's you are probably still in the low very 14's to high 13's.

When I had my 95 n/a my best 1/8th was
~8.9x @ ~79mph w/ a 2.0x 60'. That ended up netting me 13.8 @100. I need to find my slips from my supercharged car at Maxus I know I had some bad 60's there, that would probably give you a better idea of what it would look like in, I'll try to find them.

You need to work on your 60' bad! lol

Trap speed is decent though.

heck i know, when i was n/a i pulled consistent 2.2 on street tires, i pulled a 2.19 once, but always in the 2.2 range. this is just different, so much harder. but yeah, im definitely interested in the trap speed. i think it can improve from here also. just gotta relearn to launch this thing again.

Man unbolt your Y-pipe and get traction! I'm going to bet you have to fix your tune and gain 3-4mph trap without that 2.5" exhaust choking it up. Maybe get a cutout or a full 3" as a long term solution?

My 82-83 MPH 1/8th mile traps normally equated to 13.4-13.7@104-105 runs in the 1/4, but I was also getting traction down low so you may get some Marcus-like 1/4 mile times (13.0@112).

Get another set of saw blades and some M/T or Hoosier slicks. That car has 1.6-1.7 '60 foots and high 11/bottom 12 in it if you give it a diet, get your setup optimized, and launch hard on slicks. That should smash my 8.2 pretty well.

can't really tell anything from botched runs except that it has more in it.
