06 altima se vs 07 g35 sedan
my bro is going to buy a 07 g35 sedan and he said he would smoke me even when i add my mods what do u guys think im going to put hiflowcats y-pipe cai catback and nwp block off plate so how do u think would win im 5speed and he is auto .we will be going to track in a few weeks just want to no if i have a chance or if there is anything else i can add to mods

this will be a race at the track i just want to no if i have a chance we might put 500 bucks up but i want to no with my mods do i have a chance

Just looking at the numbers, he's got you by hp, but you have him by weight. Is he rwd or awd?

im not going to race into i get block off plate highflow cats y-pipe catback cai. i think i will win than. i seen a few g35 dyno's and they only have around 15whp more so i think with all my mods i should be around 240-250whp and should beable to take the win

You should be making more than 240. I made 255 in my 3.0L Accord 6MT.

With that said, it will be a very close run. I wouldn't put up money because it's very hard to botch an auto.

no my butt dyno is pretty good because we raced 10 min ago 4 runs 2 digs and to from 20 and i pulled 1/2 car to 120 than we shut them down

lol i did the stock ait box mod and took mufflers off i guess it gave me that lil extra

Yea you know haha. I think I joined like 4 years ago when my friend had a Maxima lol. I never posted before though.

You are the one that got me thinking about getting lightweight 16s and DRs!

Nice kill btw. My mom had an 08 G35x. It felt faster than my car as well (mostly due to the torque I'm sure) but I ran one and pulled slightly as you did. Butt dynos is like head from a fat chick; it usually feels good, but it sucks .

That's what I thought too. It was on a Dynojet. But, I still have yet to see good ET/trap on my setup. Once the exhaust is done, I should make a little more power.

Sorry to semi-hijack man. Someone I know has a dark blue Alti 5spd (04 i think) with bolt ons and that thing is quick.
