yeah, I dynoed just before I went to the track. There is a thread posted in the dyno section. Just going off memory I think I made around 264hp and 249tq. I do have videos of these runs, they are on my camera but they are not uploaded anywhere.

Thanks man! Your's is looking good too.

*Also, just to update this tread with a little new info.

I picked up some slicks from i30dvr, so I should be able to get down the track a little faster and put this power to use

I will be going back to the dyno/track before the season is over. I picked up all of the components to run a 3.5" intake. I also have a SSIM that I will be installing at the same time. We will see what she will do.

I will have to check, but the tires are mounted on saw blades. I think they are 24.5" x 8.

Carson that's a nice setup from him. I would have bought it if I didnt have slicks already. If you get a 1.9 60' you will see 12 no problem. I also think you will benefit from the SSIM

I am thinking with my current set up and slicks I should be able to see high 12's. I just have to drive it there now

With a new intake set up my goals are a little higher.

I'll try

The videos that I do have are all 13.xx runs, I don't think I have the first run when I ran the time that is posted....then I am pretty sure my last run is recorded where I ran about a 14.xx...I had a melt down off the line

I really want to get back to the track this year, but I only want to go if I can run my slicks...and I can only run my slicks if I put stock brakes back on the car...that's on the "to do" list....that just a very long list at the moment.

I see some very good times coming from your set up. You did that 13.4 with 18's (ya they maybe light but its still rotational mass). like everyone is saying - 12's should be no problem for you. Nice job!

yes, 13.4 was street trim on 18's.

Stock brakes are back on the car so I can run on sawblades and slicks now. I put my SSIM on a week or so ago. I never did the 3.5" intake. We will see what she will do, all I need to do is wash the car a load my tires and I will be ready for tomorrow. Hopefully I will have some good updates soon. I'll be running at Richmond Dragway tomorrow.

Lost power with the SSIM....not the results I was hoping for...but not bad. I'll post the slip/s once I go out to my car and get them.

May have to send the ecu back to jwt and the along with the specs on the cams so they can do the cam timing...

But I'm anxious to see a dyno graph of before and after. From 4500 to redline there should have been gains across the board. Anything under that without proper cam timing may not be to impressive

He's running 3.0 timing so the cam timing is static. But he needs more ignition timing. I retarded my timing a bunch when I first did my high compression swap, then I zero'd it out to stock timing with SSIM and dem ting rage pon di bumboclaat street.

I lost everywhere. I have the dyno, I just need to get the guy to send me the files. I'll post an updated dyno. Yes, I need some tuning but I am not sure it will make it up.

I got the guy to do a graph from my last dyno to the most recent one, the only thing changed is the SSIM.

It took off harder at 4k with the stock manifold with spacers and BOP.

Two best slips from last night (I got five total runs). My best was my first run. I need to practice launching better. I only go to the track once/twice a year so it's always a learning experience. The only things that will matter that have changed since last time at the track are that I added a SSIM, and I am 24.5" slicks now. I was running around 20 psi in the tires on my first run, and about 16 psi on my last pass. Not sure on the DA but I was running at Richmond Dragway if anyone wants to check. The first pass was made at 7pm and the last pass was made around 9:45pm.

60' 1.9762
330' 5.5916
1/8 et 8.5533
1/8 mph 83.33
1/4 et 13.1856
1/4 mph 107.27

60' 2.0505
330' 5.6921
1/8 et 8.6592

A little bit off. I need to get the files from the dyno, I was frustrated with loosing power, that I did not pay too close of attention.

Yeah, I know, it's still not bad. I really wanted to get in the 12's...and I could have if I could have left a little bit harder. It was a test and tune night at the track and it was not prepped at all. I tried dumping the clutch at 6k on my 3rd run....that did not work out well I spun a ton. Also, I do not do perfect burn outs, I need to practice that too.

107 traps FTW. Yeah all you need is a high 1.8 and you'll get 12's. Not bad at all.

that pressure is way too high for slicks in my experience. i've always run around 11-11.5psi.

I used to run my dr's at 18psi and launch at 5k on a open diff, so on slicks start at 14-15psi and down down to 10-11 like suggested or till you start to lose mph

You should be able to find a sweet spot somewhere around there. As for burnouts a good starting point is to spin them till you see smoke depending on the brand and compound they tire make like alittle more or less heat

This was my first time on slicks , so I did not quite have enough time to figure it out. I only saw smoke one time on one of my burn outs. I'll have to work on it.

Assuming nothing changes I am going to head to the track tomorrow. I have swapped back to my stock intake manifold...that will be my only change since the time I posted last fall.

*Anyone in the Richmond VA area, I'll be at Dinwiddie/VMP*
