Today was track day

sup org,

well today me and my buddy kico went to Byron dragway in illinois

ill be honest and say i was expecting alot from my max and was mildly let down

the temp was around 65 degrees light wind and sunny perfect day for racing and wasting mustangs witch i did
i also put the "performance chip" in the IAT sensor (before you flame me i spent .99 cents at radio shack for 10)
it did nothing PROOF DONT WAST YOUR MONEY
i also clicked the o/d off and ran a consistent tenth slower all my mods are listed in my sig along with my brand new super awsome pic thanks to kico and i will definitely say this a reprograming kit DOES make your car faster by 2 tenths at least

my average run of the day was 15.3 i later got that down to a blazing 15.2
then 15.3, 15.3, 15.3, 15.3...... autos gotta love em

best RT::.016
best 1/4:: 15.277
60 ft::2.316
1/8:: 9.860
trap speed:: 90.60

kico on the other hand managed to get down to a 14.8 witch is an understatment for his car i would post his mods but i dont want to "take the thunder out of his storm" ill let him post that

i will post pics soon
thanks for looking

Good temps today but looks like you had a strong headwind in the afternoon against you. I always loved going to Byron in October as long as the traction was decent.

I'm good skweaky, the trans is in and took the beating all day at the track and held up well.

maxed out 99 we had some good times. Maybe BJAY1 can join us for next season seeing he lives in chicago burbs to. But I could not get traction in first at all letting it out at 1500 rpms and easing into the throttle and shifting into 2nd early is how I ran the 14.8 The wheels seem to spin to easy for me I need some slicks for sure but definitely had fun burning rubber all day.

I would love to go to the track with a hole crew of maxima's. I know maxed out 99 will join me next season so I will have some better tires for the event and some more mods next time around in hope for better times. maxed out 99 we need to get you a 00VI or a MEVI than you will pull better in 3rd gear and you will get better times for sure.
