2014- Fully Stripped 5.5gen All Motor

Well i started off running 14.141 as a daily with only:Injen intake, gutted precats, warpspeed Y pipe with a **** ton of dents, a 2.5" catback made in a backyard,NWP 4 of 5 piece spacer kit, NWP B.O.P, Lowered on maxspeed springs with blown rear struts KYB GR-2 infront. Then 9 months later after i sold i i bought it back, changed the suspension to full KYB GR-2 all around with Eibach springs(wayy better!).still same mods ran and the stripping began, took out the back seats and passenger seat and ran a 13.8@99.94. Then changed up a few things:-Injen intake routed to the headlight
-6th gen maxima headers, Custom Y pipe from Stebro Stainless steel made to fit with 6th gen headers.Running open Y pipe
-Block Off Plate( home-made)same as nwp.
-NWP Torque Link Bracer
-NWP 5 piece manifold spacer kit(missing upper to lower manifold spacer cuurently so 4 piece.)
-Full Blown 340LPH fuel pump, brand new fuel filter
-350z injectors (335 vs 315)
-Greddy emange bought from *knight_yyz
-255/50/16 HooiserDrag Radials(wires showing)in the front (16x7.5)
I then brought it back to the track after stripping few more things.
Ran 13.1@ 107.41
Took another about +/-30-45lbs more off the car added:
-135/75/16 rx7 spare tires in the rear (16x4) (NWP Engineering setup)
Ran 12.837@108.904
Now i plan to strip the rest of the car out: dash, airbags, trunk liner, heatercore, wiper linkages, power steering lines, changing steering wheel, changing the driver seat to Sentra Se-R V-spec cloth seat and work a little on aerodynamics. Then adding:
22x8x15" Drag Dr-21 on M/T slicks
24.5x8x15" Drag Dr-21 on M/T slicks
Switch to turn fans on
Cosmo Racing under drive pulley
Gutting UIM
Port& polishing UIM & LIM
4" Intake w/ inter-graded MAF
Greddy Emanage Ultimate + full retune with 7100 Redline.
My goal for this upcoming may 3rd when i bring it to a NEW, MUCH better track ICAR in Montreal is 12.4. Hopefully this little list of mods will help me break closer to Aarons 11.9, how close? we'll just have to wait and see!!

thanks! im really excited too, hopefully all this snow can melt and it can get warmer so i can get working on her! Started her yesterday started like a dream! The motor is honestly the strongest 3.5 ive ever seen running in person. Id like to rebuild, but my funds arent the greatest so im trying to go as fast as possible on a budget build. Ideally i would love to get a lightweight flywheel, Sentra LSD tranny, Brian crower cams, Revup oil pump, and a bunch of HR parts, 3.5" TB from NWP and run 11's all day. Thats a dream tho....

So I went to the track yesterday and had a pretty successful night!
I finally got to run the 24.5-8-15" slicks, added the SSIM and port and polished LIM, and the Cosmo racing underdrive pulley
Started at about 20psi and worked down to 15psi and then got a good run down when the sunset. at 9:47PM:
1.910 60ft
8.186 @ 86.05 - 1/8th
12.717 @ 108.51 - 1/4 mile
NEW PB
Now time to get the greddy emanage ultimate in, tune it and get the 4" intake in.
What should i do next to go faster?

A 75-shot of nitrous just before the TB. Instant 11s if you keep traction. Just for fun....

One N2O bottle, 16ft hose from the trunk, two small solenoids (fuel and nitrous), two short hoses to the nitrous nozzle and NX 75-shot jets =

seems like you lost power somewhere as switching to slicks alone should have netted a new pb

weather humidity and wind speed play lots of factors. Shes also in need of an oil change didnt get a chance to change it after winter.
My 12.8 run was
2.00 -60ft
8.315 @ 86.212
12.837 @108.904
id say the car is still running same as it was last year just got a little better traction to get the 60FT down to 1.91.
Thing i find most with slicks v.s drag radials is the top end speed the slicks you can feel them sticking to the ground as much as they possibly can to slow you down especially being so damn low on air lol

I think you can definitely get the 60fts quite a bit better with those 24.5's.
1.7 60fts should be the goal!

How do you launch the car?

Nice times by the way, they will only improve with more seat time.

Nice video!

I would try to launch a lot higher than that and slip the clutch if you need too. I launched my car at 6500rpm and slipped the clutch. Best 60ft was a 1.82 if I remember right and that was with ET Streets which are not that great of a tire. Wish I had a full slick I could have had some 1.7 60fts for sure!

You can definitely let more air out of those tires as well.
Next time you go out maybe start them at 12-13psi and work your way down.

Good luck with the car! That thing on nitrous would be a blast!

general rule of thumb is to burn out till you see smoke or few 2-4sec, also launch higher somewhere is the 4-6500 rpm range, got to figure whats best for the track and your setup, also drop your tire till it starts to effect your trap or the car doesn't feel stable on the big end of the track, these are guide lines not rules

The 22's might be a little bit too small, but give them a shot. It'll probably run out of gear in 4th on the top end.

Maybe for your gearing, unless he changed his FD. 4th should be plenty long. especially going to 7100

Good idea bringing both, it'll be interesting to see which ones work better for you.

I completely forgot i made this thread....anyhow i went to the track once since the last time i posted, had a really busy summer.
For the past month or so ive been slowly working away at cleaning up the car and making it look track ready!
fixed lots of rust/filled and welded holes, aswell as added the 5th piece to my manifold spacer kit, so i FINALLY have an upper to lower manifold spacer!
I bought some lightly used 265/605/16 and changed the spark plugs that i completely forgot to change when i got the car back...
So now for this upcoming saturday im headin back to the track and hoping for a new best time, finally installed all the greddy programs so that i can tune with the laptop on the fly.
This saturday im aiming for a 12.5 hopefully as long as i can hook up, last time i went up the car was running a little rich and only managed a 12.9.
The car's ebrake cable is also seized which makes doing burnouts hard....so lots of reverse to 1sts' hah
