87 maxima rear strut replacement

87 maxima rear strut replacement

hello all,i need to replace the rear struts and springs on my maxima,i have a new set of kyb cartriges,can anyone give me a procedure for replacing these and any tips on the easiest way? thanks much,jim mcguinness (the electronic struts were replaced by non-adjustable ones before)

Um best bet is to get the Haynes Manual at an Auto parts store.

Take care when you remove the springs, they're under so much pressure that if you don't remove them properly, they can literally take your head off.

What he said. So In safety go to your auto parts store and rent or buy a spring compressor so this wont happen.
