heard of a special valve in the Oil filters?

That helps with keeping the oil from draining into the pan. sooo Where can I get a filter like this and what filters have this? thanks for the info! -Q

The nissan oil filters have the check valve

What the check valve (anti-drain back valve) does it stop oil from flowing backwards through it. The OEM filters have this and should be the oil filters used on our cars. Avoid filters like fram, they are POS. BTW you might want to stock up on oil filters from courtesy, locally the dealers want like $6-7 for the oil filter

Are you serious? How much are they at Courtesy, the same?

What is wrong with FRAM? I have been using them for years on all my cars with no problems? thanks

Does this check valve apply to the 81-84? My dealer stopped carrying oil filters for my car years ago. I have been using AC PF2 and Motorcraft FL-1A ever since.
