What kind of Spark Plugs does anyone suggest For the 2nd gen? Also what about ignition wires for our cars. What lowering spring would suggest Intrax Suspension or Suspension Technique and does anyone has one of these lowered suspension on their car?

 

I haven't had to replace any of the items you've mentioned, however after a few years of owning this car and getting info from hundreds of members, I do have some valuable info to offer.

As far as spark plugs, stick with NGK, they're the best for this car. Same goes with wires, NGK makes the best, though they are harder to find. The only choice you need to make is with the standard copper plugs or the platinum ones. The copper ones actually are better because copper is a better conductor of electricity than platinum. However, you'll only get 30K out of the copper ones, whereas you'll get 100K out of the platinum tipped ones. The difference in power and fuel efficiency is negligible with a 160 HP car, so go with the platinum tipped ones.

As far as lowering springs, I'd say Eibach makes the best ones. http://www.stillen.com has them on their website for around $200-250, I don't know the exact price off hand. They are the only place that I know of that still carries Eibach's for our cars. Eibach discontinued them a long time ago, so get them while you can.

Maxima561 had ST springs on his car, though he totaled it a while back. You can check out his car at the 2nd gen Maxima club on Yahoo. I'm pretty sure he liked them when he had them. I think the Intrax ones lower the car the most, so they may do more damage to your struts than the other two I mentioned. If you haven't already, upgrade the struts to KYB's before you put lowering springs on. They'll certainly destroy any other struts like Monroes or Gabriels and may do the same to the Nissan ones.
