I need help, my 88 with digital-dash
has an intermittant speedo.

1 ecu shows code 14 "vehicle speed sensor"
2 swapped sensor (transducer) no help.
3 Noticed clicking sound in dash area when
speedo comes on
4 speedo cable & drive in good cond.
5 A few times in the last year the dash
would flash on & off and engine would
die, would easily restart & do same
thing again, after car sat a while
it would run fine for months untill it
does it again.

Is my digital dash of ecu at fault?
