Gold Plated Intake Plenum Cover

PIAA Super Plasma H3 Bulbs (Really cool gold/silver/purple bulb tint when off)

PIAA Super Plasma H3 Bulbs (They are on, they look really cool in person and at night, they have a bluish/purplish look. Much better color than the PIAA Xtreme Whites)

Yo homie I like the lights you put on the bottom. I was thinking of doing the same thing but also to the sides. I don't know what type of tint I should put on it. It's a toss up between mirror or black. Where did you order the sway bar from.

You mean the FSTB? I got it off Ebay. It for a 93-97 Altima. If you do this, you need to modify mounting brackets, and you will also need to make sure you have the 88 Maxima EGR valve which has the vacuum fitting pointing to the driver side fender and not the firewall. When you talk about the lights, do you mean the turnsignals? Right now the turn signals are the only thing you can buy clear. The clear sides would have to be self-made.

How are the supertones? Did you wire up a switch between them and the stock ones, or did you just replace the stock horns?

ok i notice that v6 3000 plate across the top of your engine is gold...if that plates off for a period of time is it gonna hurt any thing?

i got a idea i want to try with red and blue metalcast (red on one side phases into blue on the other)

The supertones rock. They are really loud. I wired them with the relay it came with in the directions. Since one of my stock horns is broken, I used it's wire as a signal wire to turn on the supertones. I left the other one in alone and sounds pretty interesting now!

no, taking the plate off the plenum will do no damage at all, it's really just a vanity thing. Just so everybody knows it's a Nissan 3000 VG engine

taker er' off and paint away

Yeah, the plenum cover is just that, a cover. As for my cover, I got that one from a friend. If you notice, that's the only piece of bling bling on my car. And that's how it's gonna stay too. I'm not really big into making my car look really bling bling. I rather have it fast if anything.

The car paint is original, wheels are original factory wheels.

Wheel wheels?

I assume you meant steel wheels. All 2nd gen Maximas came with alloy wheels as standard equipment.

Well here is the status....the front springs are installed, I also installed the front KONI's....which were a PITA. Well, last Saturday, the Left front strut broke loose (the nut holding it to the strut nut stripped off). So now I have a crappy gabriel strut in there now until I get new KYB's. The rear isn't done yet, I'm waiting to get the KYB's, and going to have the rear done. So I now have a set of KONI adjustable rear inserts available for sale. They will slide in unlike the fronts. I'm ask $35 not including shipping.

As for the PIAA bulbs, bottomed out the front of the car really bad a few weeks back and literally destroyed one of my foglamps. I now have replacments....but accidently got the driving lamp version of what I had before. I also swapped the bulbs with the super plasma ones.

I got my front door components finally. They are Kenwood Excelon KFC-Xr61p....6.5". I have Kenwood Excelon KFC Xr51p 5.25" components in the rear deck. The should has gotten much clearer and crisper. The one problem I have now is I getting a lot of highs, and a lot of lows....but the mids aren't coming thru well. I think its the combination of the fact that I have a sub, that needs to be readjusted so I can turn the bass setting on the head unit up to give me more mid. I have a EQ for my car, but I can't install that until I get another amp for the speakers and rework my power distribution. Either way I'm still liking them. I also have a problem with my tweeters not sitting flush....but this is attributor because they are being pushed out by the door a little...since I didn't work the clearance out correctly. Oh well...life goes on. The stock speakers are in very good shape. So if any of you need replacement stock speakers, I have a set for sale for $20 bucks not including shipping.
