What do you guys think i could get out of an 87 two tone GXE with 130k miles with these mods and fairly good condition.
MODS: Drop in K&N Filter with top off airbox, 2.5 catback to a fart can, 8mm spark wires with new rotor, cap and platinum plugs. timing advanced to roughly 23-24 degrees btdc. apc hyper white headlights with apc hyper cornering lights with pilot remote controlled fogs. A pioneer premiere deh 340 with a coustic 480 watter powering two lightning audio 15s and pioneer all around mids and highs. to top it all off Chromed out stock maxima rims, and soon to be limo tinted.

It also depends on where your located at. You could probably get around $2800 here in PA for it. We don't have a lot of older imports and a lot of older cars are rusted out due to the bad winters here, so that helps to drive the selling price up for imports that are in good shape. Hell, I've only seen two 1st gens and about six other 2nd gens in the past 3 years around this area. And none of the 2nd gens were in as good as shape as mine.
Also, mods are great and do help boost the selling price, but hands down the most important thing is the condition of the car. Having a couple subs and a head unit in there to sell the car doesn't help if the car needs a lot of mechanical work done to it or if the body's got rust holes.
In all honesty, I'd keep the car if I were you. You could drive it for another 100K easily, as long as you keep up on the maintenance. Getting another 100K miles out of a car with relatively minor repairs is worth much more than the $2000-2500 that you'll get for selling it.
