I have a nissan Maxima88 and I don't like my sports edition bucket seats, my *** hurts like hell after an hour of driving. i sat in the GLE puffy leather seats and almost had an orgasim. I was wondering if i could take out my old seats and put in GLE seats from a junk yard or something, does anyone know if this is possible, and also is it possible to switch my SE gauges with GLE, and also do they sell wood dash and clear tail lights kits for 88max?

Well they dont sell any clears for our cars. There is no demand and were old kats. They do sell wood dash kits and the aluminum lok for our cars. use the search thing up top and search for wood dash kits for 2nd gen. maximas or jsut lok up wood dash kits. it should come up.

To my knowledge the maxima didn't have a GLE until the 4th gens 95-99s. Now the GXE 2nd gens did have different seats, what color are your seats? If you wanted to you can get the front seats from a 89-99 max, but you'd have to fab some custom mounting brackets. Other than that they should bolt right in, also you might have to do some rewiring if you get a power seat too.

i'm not interested in 89 seats, the puffy non-SE seats 2nd gen are really frieken confortable, it comes with the car with digital dash . if anyone knows if the seats are compatable let me know. i can't see y not, i'm going to try in the summer anyways, if anyone knows let me know.

The question I have for you, re: SE/GXE seats, is: are the SE seats power ones? The GXE ones are (forward/back). For all I know, the wiring harnesses for the two cars might be similar enough to already have connectors for the power seats. Check under yours. Otherwise, the seats should be a drop in replacement. If you're looking at leater seats you can probably match the color. They used different fabrics in the SE and GXE's. Personally, I've always found the foam in the driver's GXE seats to be womped out, and not very comfortable.

yes my seat only go foward and backward, i just don't like the way my back feels and i hate the head rest, why is there a damn whole in it? anyways leather ouwld be sweet.
