87' Maxima running bad

my uncle is giving me his 87' Maxima, auto. its been sitting for about a year now. when i start it up it doesnt stay running, i have to keep my foot on the gas for it to stay running. its blowing grayish smoke, i was thinking about changing the spark plugs getting rid of the old gas. also when i change the plugs do i have to change the plug wires as well? also when i get new gas i was gonna change the fuel filter. and i heard that there was a recall on the injectors for this year and engine, is this true? is there anything else small that i can change? also how much would all this stuff cost me, (ballpark price)?

plugs and wires: $
fuel filter: $

Thats all i can think of right now.
