Lowered Suspension

I wanna get some lowering springs by Suspension Techniques. Along with my KYB gr-2 struts.
Would it work? Pretty yes. Right?
Is there anything else I should get while I'm at it? Like a camber kit or something? Any ideas that it needs it or not. If so where to get the hook up?

I got my ST springs from Shox.com, with gr-2's, it'll kick some ***. The look will be far better with fender gap being reduced. The car will look far more aggressive, as it should.

I still only have the front's done on my car. The springs have pretty much settled, but there is still a small gap between the fender and the tire. Though I must say, from how my car used to sit, this sits much better. I myself think the lowering is good enough, any lower and I'd have trouble's driving around (especially if I'm in downtown seattle, potholes, steep driveways etc). I think I got pretty much almost a 1.5" drop. Now to get the rears done.....but that I need to get new struts all the way around.

Sarin, do you think your ride or my ride would require a camber kit and adjustment? Or do you think our cars wouldn't really need it? This one guy I know who knows how to lower suspension told me that my car with a simple 1.5 inch drop with those springs shouldn't require a camber kit. The camber kit I'm referring to is the EZ CAM bolts and rods style. Don't know if you seen them. But would the car hold off without it?

I do remember the guy telling me that in order to get the lowered suspension fully settled is when you let it sit and the weight will bring it down. Also he said that there is this rubber piece that sits on top of strut rod but under the top tower mount...when he takes it out the suspension lowers fully with the struts and springs.

Quite honestly, I don't think camber kits are needed. My car doesn't need one, nor do I think you would. As for the rubber thing, I wouldn't remove that, that's the bump stop for the strut to protected it if you bottom out the suspension. What you should do is actually cut the bottom half off and install it back (says so in instructions that come with the springs). If you leave it out, it only takes one time of bottoming out to destroy your struts, so keep that in mind.

I got my springs and EZ Cam kit this past Monday. It's a trip because I looked in my Haynes manual and the parts I got for alignment camber...didn't see anything different except for cleaniness. But it looks like if I got the same type of parts. Like if I'm replacing parts that are the same...like bought it for no reason. Do ya think I should just get my loot back? For sure it is most likely not needed? An alignment is required right? So any suggestions or ideas...holla.

I think you can just go ahead and bring back that camber kit, you won't really need it....you will however need to get an alignment done.
