Nicotene (?) Stained Paint

I have managed to get the leather and vinyl pretty much smoke free by using Luxol, superclean, Windex (surprisingly effective) PineSol, and Citrus cleaner, along with a couple of Febreze type cleaners. BUT, now there is another problem: in the door jams, there is a yellowing/browning of the otherwise beautiful pure white finish. I have tried Mother's polish, Superclean, and Polishing compound to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Is this on the paint? Wax won't remove that suff. I would try a crap load of dishsoap and a lot of scrubbing. if you need to, pop the screws off of the plastic trim thats on the door sill and take it out. You can also try a claybar, but I don't think it will be that great. The other is maybe a degreaser of some sorts or simple green.
