I did some work on one i just bought. When I try to start it, it turns over gets fyel and fire but does not crank. The anti theft light flashes as i crank it. I don't know the code and the tag is gone that goes in the trunk. How do I reset this or disable it?

Erm, I'm confused. Is this an aftermarket alarm or the factory alarm your talking about?

It is the factory alarm system. I need to figure out the door code or reset it. Something to shut down the alarm system. It is keeping it from running.

 

The factory alarm will not allow the starter to turn over if it is armed. The light will flash if a door, the trunk or the hood is open anywhere on the car. as for disarming it, all you have to do is unlock the drivers side door with the key.
