gutting bank 2 (front) cat...

So on my cali spec 99 i30t00vi swap I have a y pipe (which only deletes bank one cat) and I have no main cat.

A friend of mine told me that due to me still having bank two cat that power is still being restricted. Especially if my main cat was clogged so bank two has to be even worse.

My questions are is there a difference in power if I gut bank two cat?

Also I read up on the homemade o2 simulator the one with the four spark plug anti foulers.
does this really trick the ecu?

Thanks in advance.

I would gut that pre-cat. It does create back pressure for those 3 cylinders.

You may not need any anti-foulers. Try it and see.

Mmm okay.
I noticed on my scanner where it has the systems monitor.
it says ready for everything else except for the oxygen sensor monitor.

The oxygen sensor heated monitor says it's ready...kinda makes you wonder if nissan just put that there to keep the us emission people happy
