Finally, a decent battery!
Finally, a decent battery!
My old Diehard battery was getting close to it's last legs. It was
not holding a charge well, and it doesn't like the abuse of the my
new stereo system. So what better way then to replace it. I ended up
buying a brand new (could of got refurbish for cheaper, but they
aren't as pretty) Optima Red Top Battery. For the icing on the cake,
I also got a new grounding kit. I've have installed both and wow, it
looks good. I'm gonna do some testing to see how it holds up, and
I'll try to post some pics.

What is the hype with the Optima Red Top? Also Sarin where did you pick up your grounding kit? I was looking at one on ebay but I'm not to sure if its good or not? Is there anything to look out for? The tax man was very good to me so I have some extra change come Spring time. Brakes and struts are first but if I wanted to start in the engine compartment. What do you guys think I should upgrade first???

Red tops kick ***. They are the sealed gel type so you don't get corrosion, they also last 3 times longer. Hell you can run your stereo for 3 hours, and still be able to start the car. I highly recommend it.
I got my grounding kit off Ebay. It's the type that has a circular plate that you can mount the wires too (like 10 mounting points). I got the red one that uses 4 gauge wires. I am very happy with the results.
As for modding, the things you can do for the engine bay would probably have to be the CAI and TB. As for the suspension, I say it's time for some ST springs, KYB GR2, Addco RSB, and Ebay FSTB from a 93-97 Altima.
