Getting some studdering...

I've notice after I installed the ground kit for my car, that my car
studders now. It seems to happen more down in the low RPM range
(like when I'm getting the car going from a stop, around 1k-2k
range). Also seems to do it for a little bit if I mash the gas.
Sometimes, it just feel like the motor is flooding or something,
sometimes if feels like the motor had a huge miss and it shakes the
car a little. My EGR valve is a little bent up again, so I have to
bend it back and see the results. Any other suggestions? Cap and
Rotor are brand new, plugs are fairly new...need new wires however.
Possibly Vacuum related?

I ahd that same problem. I cheanged my PCV valve with one fro mAdvanced Auto parts and it downsized. Check your spark plugs maybe. Also I checked my Vaccuum hoses and I said this before that some were not connected or connected wrong from my Top end rebuild. I bet you it has something to do with spark, mine happened at the same Rpm range. What all did you ground to?

Grounded to the driver side radiator support, left strut tower, ground point just above the main grounding point, 3 places on the intake manifold, and on the left bank grounding point right by the A/C compressor. I didn't un-do any other wires excpet for the grounding point by the A/C. Oh well, I'll check it out when I get a chance.

Wow, I found my problem. It turns out one of my stock grounds when I put in the stock kit came a little closer to the spark plug wire for the #2 cylinder. Since I have really cheap *** wires on the car right now, the ground is slow enough to cause an arch from the wire to the ground. I've reposition the ground fitting and the car stopped studdering. Now I have to get new wires. Man.....I won't ever by cheap wires again! :P
