plugs
I would probably have to say NGK V-Resistors. That's what I've been using in my car. In all reality, an NGK plug would work best. I just like the V-Resistor personally but any copper, platinum or iridium plug from NGK should work fine.

Running the same plugs here too, NGK V-Power. I wouldn't run platinums in an automatic though. The engine in an auto is always lagging ( steadily cruising at very low rpm's ) more than in a 5 speed, and tends to foul up the platinums. But if you've got a 5 speed, and don't lag the engine, the platinums should work well. I don't know anything about the iridium plugs though.
ok thanks cause ive got bosch platinums, 1 not 4(4 is a waste) And now after a while i have a miss under load and under hard acceleration. so, hopefully these help. if not then guess i'm gonna have to go start replacing injectors, fuel filter, plug wires, dist cap, rotor, the whole nine.
changed plugs and tada miss gone.... my platinum plugs are ****ty the electrode or what ever you call it in the middle was fried and receded down in the outer part.(sorry about my spark plug vocabulary). but im happy that my miss is gone, engine kicks *** again. i went ahead and took a few more bucks and bought some octane boost and advanced my timing to 25 degrees, which.... by the way made it pull a bit harder from 3-4 1/2. I mean once it hits second gear it jumps to 70 real quick.

Which wire set would you guys use with the NGK?
Will a hotter plug and wire combo end the rich fuel condition, or is it just the tip of the glacier?
Will a tune up aleviate this or are all these steps just small in comparison with a real problem?
