Well, I live on the west coast, so I can't get down there for a dyno. Here in Washington State, you can get a 2 pulls on a dyno for about $35-40 bucks, 2 pulls with O2 for about $50-60, or 1 hour with O2 for about $80-100.

I think sarins dynos are the ones that hjave pulled in the best info..was it 132fwhp at the wheels and like 180 at the crank? (forgot) Think about it..most racers cant pull that on their civics and escorts..even on some acuras.

Nope, it was 135whp, 168wtq. Equates to about 159hp, 198tq at the fly.

That's what the factory claims. 160hp from the VG30.
I wonder why the old L28 says it has 170hp and they never have near that much power at the flywheel when stock, or even lightly modified.

160hp is for the 89 and newer VG maxima's, and 84-89 N/A 300zx's. The Maxima was 152hp for 85-86 and 157hp for 87-88. Both of which I still have some gains over. Now what the funny thing is, the 85-86 were rated 167tq at the fly, and 87-88 were about 168-174tq. I did 168tq at the wheels, which I like! BTW my dyno's were done on a Dynojet. I know there are a few others. I've only used a Dynojet on my car, and assisted with a dyno on a S/C'er 4th gen that used a Mustang Dyno.
