Fast idle

Injectors are in, everything is working but the idle is around 2200. I put in new rotor, distributor and plugs while I had it all apart. Is this a timing issue or do I have a vacuum hose in the wrong place? Or is it something else completely different? Thanks.

I had a similar problem after I had changed my oil. I was leaning in for the passenger side of the bay to get the filter out and I had been leaning on throttle cables going back to the fire wall. I ended up hanging one of these on the little plastic cover and therefore causing it to think the throttle was pressed. We also have a fast idle controller, though I dont know much about it.

if you had a vacuum leak or TPS bad I would think the idle would be more irratic rather then just high...just my thoughts

I had a similar issue over the summer and drove myself insane trying to pinpoint it. it turned out to be a dry-rotted vacuum line. that's the first place I'd start.
