fuel injection
I don't think so, the old 280zx's had a variation on Bosch L-Jetronic, but the system on our cars is way more advanced than L-Jet. It's more like the later Motronic system, except that Motronic uses little sensors on the flywheel to tell where the engine is at by signalling every time the engine has passed TDC, and ours has the crank angle sensor in the distributor and has 360 slits so it knows exactly where the engine is at at any given time. Other differenes are that Jetronic pulses the injectors once every engine revolution, Motronic fires each bank alternately each revolution, and as far as I know ours are true sequential injection, each injector fires as it's cylinder is coming on the compression stroke.

HELL NO, when i had my timing belt break i was told my injectors were in excellent shape and had never been replaced
i was just curious, i found a book on tuning the injection and it did have a picture of a 300zx but the book inside only shows generic things so it wasnt car specific from diagram to diagram
