Headliner removal help needed

Hello,
I have an 86 four-door with broken moonroof glass. The track/wind deflector may be messed up too, as that appears to have caused the breakage. So I purchased a complete, working moonroof to replace it with. I can see that it needs to go in from inside the car, but I can't see how to get the headliner out. What is the best way to remove the interior trim pieces that hold up the headliner up all the way around? I appreciate any help I can get here - I'd like to get this fixed before my son heads back for college with plastic taped to the roof of the car!

Panel poppers will help immensely. To remove the long time pieces.
