83 Maxima in need of help

Hey all new here to the thread, Im actually helping out a friend who just got a 83 Maxima. She is in bad shape in and out but he is adiment about getting her running smoothly without breaking his pocket. So im basically just looking for shops or websites or anywhere that services these things aftermarket wise or OEM without haveing to go to the Stealership or a mechanic for the entire rebuild. Thanks in advance for the help.

So you're looking for a shop to work on your car but the shop can't be a Mechanic or dealership? Your friend should start by getting a computer and get on the internet. Forums like this one will help with free knowledge. Knowledge is the most valuable tool.
