I need to replace my passenger side headlight assemby on my '87 max because of condensation, how do i remove the whole thing? Aside from removing the grille does anything else have to be removed?

 

yes the piece underneath the headlight as well.
take off the corner lights and there is a screw behind it that will allow you to loosen the sides of this long piece.

also if you look underneath the headlights towards the grille you'll see a hole. i believe there is a screw in there you must also take out.

these steps need to be done on both sides of the car both sides of the car

once you get the bottom plastic thing off (what the hell is that called?) where you removed the side corner lights there will be two nuts of each side. these nuts hold the head light bracket to the side of the car. It will be the very top nut and very bottom.

These steps will allow you to get the headlights out with the bracket, i do not know if you can just remove the headlight without the bracket.
