2k2 headlamp install instructions ...

Hey,

I have been looking for install writeups for the 2k2 headlamps, but all I can find is Icy2k1's. BigDog's site won't load, and I have tried to email him but haven't received anything from him. Does anyone have his instructions. I need them asap. I will get my lamps tomorrow and I would like to get them installed tomorrow. If I can't find his instructions I will just go with Alex's but I'd rather be able to make up my mind on which to do rather than be forced to use just one.

Any help me? Please!

Thanks

I actually email you back and guess what, you email bounced back to me. The @MSN account that is.

So I did not know how to tell you, the new website is bigdogjonx.gixxer.com

The alarm fix install is also on there.

Thanks!!!

Don't know what's up with that email acct ... that's the first time I've heard of that happening

I'm sorry to bother you with it, but I appreciate the writeup you've done! I will look over it tonight and decide which way I want to do!

Thanks again!

I have another question pertaining to the install. I was looking at Ice's writeup and he uses 7.5A inline fuses, but Radio Shack does not carry the cylindrical fuses in 7.5A, only in 7A or 8A. Is there anyway to use either the 7 or 8 fuse. The only 7.5A fuse that they sell is the type that looks like the computer chip-type that goes into the fuse box in the interior of the car.

they make inline fuse holders that will accept those types of fuses(they are called blade fuses). check autozone, advance auto, pep boys ... those types of auto places for that holder. you can buy the fuse there too. You don't HAVE to have the glass fuses for the inline fuse holder.

actually if you click on that link it is the writeup for the 2k2 TAIL lights install, the owner of that website has mis-wrote the link.

Yes, I think it's been like that for awhile actually. I think I remember going to that website awhile back. Not a biggie...just wanted to give a heads up.
