on my 85 max i have a lot of leaks and clicks it clicks when under hard turning im wondering what it is if it could be the bearings or the cv joint are any of these hard to change? also it leaks power steering fluid like water how hard is the bolt torqued that holds the line grom the ram to the pump its a 24mm bolt. I also leak oil i dont kno where its coming from but i do know that it leaks onto the exaust woven part before the pre cat and its driving me crazy i wanna kno if any one has had these problems also and if so what did you do to solve them i dont wanna take it to the shop because everytime i take it thee something else brakes or leaks or clicks thanks for the help....

 

CV are easier and cheaper to replace as the complete half-shaft...both can be done in an afternoon in your driveway...

As for PS...are you using power steering fluid in the system? If so, this is the cause for your leaks...you should be using Meron / Dextron III ATF in there - same as the tranny...PS fluid is too thin, and leaks like no tomorrow in our cars...
