well one day i was on my way to an auction and i went over a small cueb and i heard a loud clunk and after that i got a sporty sound from my muffler for a while and then it got worse raaspy noises everytime i accelerate its horrible. Do i need a new muffler or did something just come a loose and is rattling around in there its horrible. If i need a new one any suggestions, i wish nismo made a universal muffler but anyways thanks.

 

i bet you pinched it arround the cat area where the exhaust starts as one pipes and comes down from behind the motor to the cowl under the car...theres a heat sheild on it (on mine there is atleast) and i have some damage on the sheild but not the pipe....check that

 

Your muffler bearings are probably way out of tolerance and need to be completely replaced.

 

Or your mass tranducer is not transfering to the flux capacitor.....

 

naaaah i fixed it there was a hole in the muffler the size of a large soft ball so i replaced it with a peice of exaust pipe from autozone for 3 bucks
