First question: What is the function of the button just to the right of the steering wheel and next to the rear window defroster?

Second question: I was looking at my radiator and grill and found two wires that were laying in between my grill and my radiator. I traced them back to the wall on the engine compartment right in between the firewall and the driver's side suspension. My guess is that there was something there that has been removed from the Max but I am not sure what it is. What do these wires go to? Thanks

for question 1:
the switch is a 'blank' switch, and is not connected to anything. It was intended for whatever you wanted it to do. I myself connected it to the amplifier for my subwoofer so that I could turn it off when I've got a headache.

as for the 2nd question, i'm not sure what those wires were meant for...I'd have to see it in person.

Drivin In The Fog

The switch to the right of the steering, left of the rear window defogger is your....FOG LIGHT SWITCH.
Your second question was a wire harness in the front of your radiator between your grille.....IS YOUR FOG LIGHT WIRE HARNESS. The previous person must have removed the fog lamps that where located underneath the bumper.

Is Your Ride a SE (that's is a hole shape in your headrest and front under chin spoiler)?

Re: Drivin In The Fog

Yes, it is an SE. I figured it was something to do with lights, but I wasn't quite sure. Thanks for the reply.

thats odd...I already have a separate switch to the fog lights on the left side of the steering column (with its own fog light icon). Cool! My maxima came with a blank switch!
