The first start in the morning I have to keep a little pedal on to keep her going. And the idle is a little rough
I think even when she is warmed up, although it will idle between 700 sometimes idling up to 1000.

Anyone had this?

Fix>?

I'll be back lol Thanks Lane

OK, I discovered the engine idles up when fan kicks on while at idle. ya I just fell off a turnup truck.

My car used to be like that too. What I did to help it out was clean the throttle plate in the throttle body. Also spray carb cleaner in the vaccum ports below the TB. Over time the TB gets a build up of carbon and that limits the airflow from the idle up solenoid. BTW if you were to remove the idle up solenoid (the silver thing on the passenger rear of the intake collector) and clean where the idle adjust screw is taht will help alot too.

Sounds like your air regualtor has gone bad.
Sometimes the shutter disc inside the air regulator goes bad.
You can try to ohm the unit out...i believe 75 ohms is correct but the shutter may have gone internally bad.
You can try to clean out the throttle body.

This question is for those who have cleaned the throttle body & disc trying to solve the low idle problem:

exactly how much of the carbon build-up was there when you cleaned it? I just finished cleaning mine & there didn't seem to be much build-up...even in the vacuum ports. How much carbon does it take to affect the airflow?
