dtm88na says i may have to transfer linkages , Since its almost the same thing as this tutorial for getting a 60mm tb from the 240zx and putting it on the 300zx as it says on this page.

http://www.thumper300zx.com/

Then click modifactions then click KA24(e) (240SX) Throttle Body Modification
then go down and click For the full explanation click here
Then go down to where it "Once you have the inlet/outlets facing backward" then read on from there .

TPS....play with it. I am guessing you do not have the TPS set correctly. Do you have delayed throttle response?

yes, its the little black box on the firewall side of the TB. It has two screws on it. Just loosen them and you can tilt it up and down. I don't know if this is the recomend way on how to adjust it, but this is what I do. Loosen up the screws then start the car, while you play with the throttle move the sensor (like I said I doubt this is the recomend way, so you may want to consider a safer way) until you get it to the point where there is no lag in the throttle response. Also make sure you have the correct tension on your throttle cable...take out any slack before you adjust the TPS. If I remember correct when I had the tps adjusted correctly it was pretty much flat from right to left (as opposed to up and down).

You need to use an ohmeter to properly adjust the TPS. Refer to this link for the details.http://z31.com/repairs/tps.shtml
Cardana's method will work if you don't have an ohmeter, but you really need to use one to do it correctly.
