you'll need to buy a wiring harness for your car and attatch it to the one from the cd player. then you just plug in the connectors from the car into the harness. as for speaker sizes, 6 1/2 for doors, 5 1/4 for rear deck

Not sure. When I got my max the wiring harness had been cut! I had to sit there and **** with the wiring on a old crappy deck till I finally figured out which wires did what. They were almost all the same color too! took about 2 hours.

Got a harness and mount kit from Crutchfield, made it very easy to do. Just have to wire the aftermarket player's harness to the harness you buy and it'll plug right in. My talk warnings even work with the new radio in there. Crutchfield was the only place that had the kit.

yea, but be sure you have some "bux" to pay with because they wont take bucks or dollars for this harness, its that special

Far as I know. The light still blinks like it always did. Maybe I'll try to "break in" to the car and see what happens. It's beached in the garage right now anyway (mid-repair and no time to work on it).

I'll let you know but I'd say I'm 98% sure the alarm still works. I'm not sure why replacing the radio would affect that anyway??

Mine still works. It goes off if it gets very very very cold outside. Replacing the radio didnt effect mine, Ive had two different headunits in my car too.
