You guys have been great...

Hey y'all,
It's time to retire the Max. She's been great for me, adding character just when I least expected it. We've seen some interesting times and quite a bit of the southwest. Grand Canyon, Pikes Peak, St Louis to LA... "Broke her in" on Mulholland Drive, actually. Broke down and eluded me several different times. I will be either donating or junking, but if anyone is interested in parts, you let me know. She was an 81 Max 810 wagon, 109,xxx miles, 5-spd, grey, complete with racing stripe, and minus the talking lady. ...been with me since I was 16. R.I.P.

P.s. thanks to all those who helped me keep her running.

Sorry to hear you're letting it go. 25 years makes it a classic car now. I got my 84 wagon off the showroom floor in 84 and have been driving it off and on since then. Right now it's been "off" for a few years but I'm working on it now. If you're going to be parting it out let me know, My tail lights are cracked and I can always use a few spare parts. These wagons are really a lot of fun. Why, I remember the time when...

Uh, so I found a differential in oregon of all places. Didn't think it was gonna happen. Car should be back in working order in one week.

I know this question has come up before, but does anyone know if the mounts on the 82-83 T-5's are the same as ours? I know the output shaft on the t-5 is different so that I'll have to make a hybrid driveshaft, but I can't tell on the mounts. They at least look similar.
