Alright its been doing this ever since i tryed to swap Throttle bodys off of a stanza , Now ive put the old one back on and sealed it , I first thought air was just leaking and now tonight Chilling with my friend aj , We think it might be the transmission giving up...

i can't remember if the transmission in the max's have a kickdown cable or it's controlled electronically by the TPS...i'm pretty sure it's electronic, but i'm guessing the TPS is out of adjustment from playing around with those throttle bodies.

 

Ohh alright Hopefully I really dont want to replace a got damn transmission.

 

Your tranny isn't slipping. You car holds rpm, but still gain speed. Your shifting is all ****ed up. As mentioned the kickdown sounds out of adjustment. Only the overdrive is electronic on this car, the rest is mechanical as far as I'm aware.

some things up... When im at like 55 mph out of over drive , The car is ok kinda , Still it has a loss of power ... just when it shifts it my car jerks , and makes a chriping sound. now when im at 75 mph 3500rpm in over drive and i hit the gas any more the car acts like i am in park or nutral reving my car up.. So its both over drive and out of over drive .... its just worse in overdrive..
