Tps Adjustment@i#@!*)$uuj

Alright Now i got a meter , And me and my friend alen and AJ where out side for a while trying to get things to work right , Alright on my tps Its set up

Green wire on top
Red in the middle
Orange on the bottem

We just couldent get the right readings maybe , We had the Meter on the wrong setting but we tried like all of them , And also On the meter , It has ground and then the red wire , Im guessing the red wire on the tps is the ground or what ? So put the black wire there , Then put the red wire from the meter on the green cable ? Thats for open right ? and then closed is orange right?

heres the meter.
What setting should i use?

You should take the TPS on your old TB and put it on. The stanza one might now work.

what does your repair manual say? If you do not have one you should get one. They are cheap.

I don't have this car any more, I gave the manual to my dad when I sold him the car. The more you talk about it the more I think you have something else going on. In my opinion you would have to have the TPS on way wrong for it to take that long to get up to speed. It sounds to me more like a intake leak after the MAF. One easy way to tell, is if you have a little bottle of propane (please god do not smoke while you are doing this) is to spray it on your intake piping after the maf while the car is idling. If you have a leak and propane is sucked in it will make your engine rev up real quick...this is how I check for boost leaks. It will be obvious if you have one...you should really only need to have the propane on for a few seconds. Once again, this is what I would do, I am not a mechanic and I do not always do things the conventional way...so take the advice as you will.

Filled it up and put some of that lucus transmission stuff to help it from not slipping , But it did nothing.... the fluid was low like non on the dipstick , Took out the intake and put stock air box back in , still the same , What else ? humm maybe the throttle body isent sealed enough?

have you pin pointed if you have a air leak or a slipping transmission? I am really confused how those two things could be confused.

If you think you have an intake leak then keep checking between the maf and engine.

You don't have $15 for a service manual but you have $10,000 to spend on a RB powered 240?
