Aren't the caliper attachments dictated by the struts? Like difference between leading and trailing caliper. Consult appropriate FSM's.

In likelihood the maxima rotors are either going to bigger or thicker give it's a larger, heavier car. 5-lug way is to go.

For a second there I thought this was going to be a thread
about a Mazda rotory motor (wankel) in a 240SX. Now that
would be super cool. 510s are done over this was but why
not a 240?

a rotary 280 would be neato too...i want a 240 or a turbo 280 so bad. or a junked 280 with a straight body for the 350 swap....that would be awsome, i almost got one the other day $400 straight body no rust but it sold before i could get back.

any was as for this rotor....make an adaptor for the back, put it in the back.
they are a slightly smaller rotor, it'd be perfect. probally have to change the caliper out but a front caliper from another 2nd gen would work.

i've gotten wrong rotors before, atleast you can mount yours to your car.

mine were .....werid, they were brembo too.

Cool idea yes, but an SR20 swap, even an RB series motor swap are more common, much easier, and likely to produce better numbers. That would be the only reason I would think people haven't done it.

Can you use 88 maxima rear calipers on a 90 240sx ? both 4 lug.... they both look the same the only thing that is diffrent is the nipple on the rear of the caliper for the fluid and the ebrake linkage is pointing a diffrent way .

You could just swap ebrake linkages from a 240sx caliper.

Reason i want to know because my friend will give me his leather nismo shift **** for a rear drivers side caliper ( If it fit's ) his is shot..
