is there any way you can put a radio in a 2nd gen maxima

 

yes. you have to unscrew the blue part that covers the radio area (which also extaneds across the steering wheel), pull out the old radio (leave the EQ in unless you've got a replacment space filler), get a mounting kit for your new deck and insert. i don't know if there's more to it, i have yet to do it, but this is what my friend told me.

 

i'm having a hard time finding an installation kit for it
the guy at best buy said that the voice screws everything
up and that they didn't have an installation kit or wiring harness

 

i put my clarion cd player in and i didnt have to use a mounting kit. It looks very good too.
