This looks interesting...

It looks like the 2nd gen intake manifold, kinda. Not sure if its a whole lot better.

I'd like to see some pics too...

EDIT: Got pics from this site: http://www.v6-s12.com/Specifications.htm

and you changed manifolds why? The 3rdgens IM is one of the best VG setups stock for stock, other then the pathfinder/van setup.

oh ok, I forget you have a 2ed gen when your in here so much. Try downloading a FSM and checking the specs in there. Phat20g.net has them, or just google it.

This is really the first I've heard of putting this intake manifold on our engines, even though it's still a VG30E, are there gains through the whole power curve or just the top end? This would be an interesting mod to undertake if it actually gave more HP. What specifically do you have to do to adjust TPS voltages? The one thing that scares me is that is looks like you'd really have to shorten your throttle cable. That means no going back...... .......without trouble.

On the Autozone site, they lay out the procedure for adjusting a TPS for the 1994 Maxima. Perhaps this will cover your car?

I believe the TPS is supposed to be at .45v to .55v, WOT should read around 4v.

If you want to see better gains, you should look at a Late VG30E pathfinder, or VG33E manifold. The late 80-early 90's VG30E manifolds might be different, but the difference in power is extremely minor. You might most a little bit of power to the top end...but at most you might see 2-3hp peak gain if even that. Not worth the hassle.

As for the TPS, have you tried reusing the stock one you have with the car? How about adjusting it (loosing the screws and turning the TPS). Have you tried adjusting the FICD? Check for bad vacuum leak?
