how they doing

I've got two 87 Maximas - one auto and one 5-speed. The 5-speed has 209,000 miles and runs perfect although I had to do quite a bit of work on the motor and replace the transmission when I bought it. The automatic has 197,000 miles on it and should run great in about two weeks after I replace the fuel injectors with new ones. These VG30 engines seem to run forever as long as you don't break the timing belt!

My 87 Max has 220k...original engine & tranny. The factory original struts were finally replaced about 5k miles ago, as well as the factory C-V half-shafts. The engine is running a little rich, and is need of tuning, which I just can't seem to find the time to do. The distrib / crack angel sensor died on me about a year ago, and was replaced, and the prior owner replaced the A/C conpressor, condesener, etc...
I'm now about to replace the factory P/S pump and rack, as well as the timing belt again.
This car has not been babied, and has been pushed hard on several occasions, in addition to making many long-haul trips...
Not too shabby for a car I paid 3k for...and it's still running great, despite the out-of-tune situation.
