I know nothing about this. I am a member of an S12 board and I saw this for sale. For the price this guy is selling it for it may be worth looking into. Just an idea.

I have heard of people making a vg30 from a maxima into a vg33. The main issue I see with the supercharger is the hood clearance(that is if you have already figured out the belt assembly)

from what I read they are useing a vg30 not a vg33. Yes I know there would be hood clearance issues...have a cal hood made. I just saying it seems like a really good deal, and second gens can be had cheap...it may be a fun little project for someone.

he only wanted 300 bucks for that one with the plenum, I don't know where you would find a better deal than that. I just thought it would be cool to see a supercharged second gen.

i've thought of that, and i even think i made a post about it on here. Too much work involved for minimal increase... well not too minimal, probably atleast 215 HP or so, its like 230 with the VG33. Those are only designed for like 6 pounds of boost at the most. Turbo is the way to go, screw instant response, its fun when you can feel your boost kick in!!
